Description

John Bolton is a code name used by Benjamin Tallmadge, Washington's Chief of Intelligence. This is a receipt presented to Tallmadge for reimbursement to Woodhull and Townsend, immediately before Arnold's treason at the height of the Culper ring's success. Also, intelligence report in accompaniment.
